getting excited!

We are getting closer and closer to our wedding date. We are so excited. I can not believe the amount of work that is going into one day! We probably work on wedding related issues 15 hours a week. It is so crazy. We are down to a 2 page to do list. It is more details than anything else now.

I figured I should post an update. Last time was about Tony so this time it's about me. :)

I am working at 3 different Lush stores in the next month. Want to see where I work? Check out this link www.lush.com we have lots of fun, crazy, stuff! I am at the Santa Monica store until the end of this month, then back to my store (Glendale) for one day and then I go to the Pasadena store until the 20th of September when I go to Vancouver, Canada, for 4 days to attend a meeting. Then after the meeting I go back to the Pasadena store then back to my store! I am also possibly helping to open 2 new Southern California stores in October and November. How am I going to do all of this? Haha! I suppose I just keep going and don't stop and it will all work out. The best part about my job is that I genuinely LOVE it and I have a great time. I must admit, though, that I hope they delay the opening of the new stores so I don't have to do that until after the wedding.

We can not wait for the big day! We are so thrilled that we will be seeing so many friends and family members in one place. It means so much to us. It feels like a family reunion.

for guests flying in...

Just a quick note to tell people a bit about traveling by air to the Palm Springs area. There is an airport in Palm Springs but the flights and airlines are very limited and it is usually much more expensive. You might want to compare cost because it has been YEARS since I have flown out of that airport.

One possible alternate option is to fly into the Ontario airport and rent a car. It might be much more cost effective! The Ontario Airport is about an hour and 15 minutes from Palm Springs. It is very common to do that, probably 95% of the time I lived in the desert and flew somewhere we went through Ontario.

update

Everyone should be getting our Save the Date postcards by now. Except our friend in Scotland! That one might take a while.

We will start compiling hotel information and posting it here in the next few weeks.

Tony leaves today for a 9 day trip to Europe. He is going to play a music festival on July 19th just outside of Brussels, Belgium, with one of his bands, The Chuck Dukowski Sextet. The event is called the Dour Festival. They will be in Belgium for a few days, and then they are going to take a little trip out to Amsterdam to hang out for the rest of their time.

I have too much going on to go with him so I will be holding down the fort. Does everyone know that I am on a 5 week jury case?! Better get ready for court, bye!
